Some comments from the trainees:
“The training was very nice. Mr Tedi (the teacher) is very competent in African beekeeping, he is also generous and cares about the trainees. The training environment particularly Masumbo camp in Iringa isvery conducive to training in beekeeping. It is has clean air from the surrounding forest and is a very beautiful site. The delicious food prepared for us helped us to be strong and active the whole time wewere trained. I am thankful for Mr. Tedi the facilitator, Mr Jericho Mugalla the driver as well as the cooksand security guard at Masumbo camp ground.” Mr Ibrahim S. Mkuya, Teacher Malangali Secondary School, Iringa Region

“Yesterday evening I met with the beekeepers we sent to you in a focus group format. They are soexcited, and really feel prepared for the next step. I couldn't believe all the things they could talk freelyabout - the queen, and leaving her safe with her brood, and just taking the honey. So many things. I don't
know how to thank you for all you have done.” Anne H. Outwater PhD, RN, World Learning AdvancingLeaders Fellow, who is Head of Department of Community Health Nursing, Muhimbili University of Healthand Allied Sciences in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
