Beekeeper Training - May 20-24, 2020  canceled

Four-day comprehensive beekeeper training course.
Sumbawanga, Tanzania.


Theory:
  • What is a colony of bees and how do they interact?
  • How does a queen become a queen?
  • How do I attract primary swarms?
  • What type of hives should I use?
  • ...and many other such questions related to beekeeping theory.
Practical:
  • Harvesting honey with us from our hives, making starter strips, baiting hives and installing queen excluders.
Processing and Packaging:
  • How do I produce a quality, value-added product for African retail markets?
